West Virginia High School Basketball - John Marshall victorious over Buckeye Local
January 28, 2025: Glen Dale, WV 26038 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host John Marshall Monarchs basketball team scored a good 60-50 triumph over the Buckeye Local Panthers.
The Monarchs (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Blue Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Magnolia topped Cameron (Cameron, WV), 65-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Buckeye Local will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Purple Riders go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 72-61 non-league win over St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH).
