Michigan High School Basketball - Harper Creek knocks off Mattawan
January 28, 2025: Battle Creek, MI 49014 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) and the visiting Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI), observed Harper Creek's basketball team overcome Mattawan by a margin of 52-40.
The Beavers (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Saxons come into the Interstate Eight challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Hastings dropped by Belding (Belding, MI), 57-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge, on Friday, January 31. Mattawan will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record.
