Michigan High School Basketball - Norway holds off Kingsford
January 28, 2025: Norway, MI 49870 The Norway Knights basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Kingsford Flivvers to 57 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Stephenson for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Norway will confront a Eagles team coming off a 74-43 non-league loss to Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Kingsford falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Flivvers host Escanaba (Escanaba, MI) to confront the Eskymos in a Great Northern U.P. game on Friday, January 31. The Eskymos go into the game with a record of 8-9. Escanaba lost 57-31 in their recent league game against Menominee (Menominee, MI)
