January 28, 2025: Moorcroft, WY 82721 Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Moorcroft Wolves (Moorcroft, WY), 79-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lead-Deadwood advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Golddiggers travel to Douglas (Box Elder, SD) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-7. Douglas lost 65-39 in their recent league match against Pierre T.F. Riggs (Pierre, SD)
The Wolves now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tongue River for a 2A East match on Friday, January 31. Moorcroft will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 87-51 league loss to Wright (Wright, WY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
