Wisconsin High School Basketball - Sevastopol holds off Lena
January 28, 2025: Lena, WI 54139 The Sevastopol Pioneers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Lena Wildcats to 61 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Goodman-Pembine for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Sevastopol will confront a Falcons team coming off a 63-49 league loss to Three Lakes (Three Lakes, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Lena falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Suring (Suring, WI) to confront the Eagles in a Marinette & Oconto game on Thursday, January 30. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-9. Suring won 55-52 in their recent league game against Oneida Nation (Oneida, WI)
