Florida High School Basketball - Sunset can't hold off Marathon

Marathon Dolphins (Marathon, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Sunset Knights (Miami, FL), 55-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Marathon advances its record to 10-13 on the year. The Dolphins host Key West (Key West, FL) to face the Conchs in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. The Conchs enter the match with a record of 9-9. Key West lost 65-59 in their recent non-league match against Hallandale (Hallandale, FL)

The Knights now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) for a 3A District 16 match on Wednesday, January 29. Sunset will face a Stallions squad coming off a 67-30 non-league loss to Westminster Christian (Miami, FL). The Stallions record now stands at 9-9.
