With the victory, Monroe Central advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Seminoles host Barnesville (Barnesville, OH) to face the Shamrocks in a Ohio Valley AAA match on Wednesday, January 29. The Shamrocks enter the match with a record of 5-11. Barnesville lost 71-53 in their recent non-league match against Union Local (Belmont, OH)
The Tigers now own a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. Marietta will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-54 league loss to Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
