In Tuesday's league contest, the host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders basketball team scored a big 70-46 triumph over the Nichols Vikings.

The Marauders (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Red & Green go into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Jamestown smashed Lancaster (Lancaster, NY), 84-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin contest, on Friday, January 31. Nichols will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 14-3 record after their 74-32 league win over Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY).
