January 28, 2025: Tahlequah, OK 74464 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK), observed Sequoyah's basketball team edge Okemah by a score of 59-56.
The Indians (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Keys (Park Hill, OK). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Keys was tipped by Okay (Okay, OK), 57-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Seminole Chieftains (Seminole, OK) in a 66 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Okemah will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 65-61 non-league loss to Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK).
