The Seaholm Maples basketball squad (Birmingham, MI), was outscored 54-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI)

With the victory, Royal Oak advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Ravens host Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI) to meet the Black Hawks in a Oakland - Blue battle on Thursday, January 30. The Black Hawks enter the battle with a record of 9-5. Bloomfield Hills lost 67-41 in their recent non-league battle against Clarkston (Clarkston, MI)

The Maples now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Park for a Oakland - White battle on Thursday, January 30. Seaholm will meet a Knights squad coming off a 70-61 league loss to Troy (Troy, MI). The Knights record now stands at 5-5.
