Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Peter holds off Zimmerman
January 28, 2025: Zimmerman, MN 55398 The St. Peter Saints basketball team scored 81 points and limited the host Zimmerman Thunder to 76 in the Saints non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saints now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Worthington for a AAA Section 2 game on Friday, January 31. St. Peter will confront a Trojans team coming off a 80-74 non-league loss to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Zimmerman falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to St. Francis (St. Francis, MN) to confront the Fighting Saints in a AAA Section 5 game on Friday, January 31. The Fighting Saints go into the game with a record of 2-11. St. Francis lost 68-31 in their recent league game against Becker (Becker, MN)
