Oklahoma High School Basketball - Coweta knocks off Tahlequah
January 28, 2025: Tahlequah, OK 74464 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Coweta Tigers (Coweta, OK) and the host Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK), observed Coweta's basketball team overcome Tahlequah by a margin of 47-35.
The Tigers (15-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Memorial (Tulsa, OK). The Chargers come into the 5A District 4 challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Memorial defeated Edison (Tulsa, OK), 49-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Will Rogers College Ropers (Tulsa, OK) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Tahlequah will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Ropers come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 55-27 league loss to Pryor (Pryor, OK).
