South Dakota High School Basketball - Elkton/Lake Benton fells Deuel
January 28, 2025: Clear Lake, SD 57226 The Elkton/Lake Benton Elks basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Deuel Cardinals to 42 in the Elks league win on Tuesday.
The Elks (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Rutland come into the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland defeated Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD), 74-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Deuel will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 42-34 league loss to Groton (Groton, SD).
