January 28, 2025: Mattawan, MI 49071 The Mattawan Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Howardsville Christian Eagles to 25 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Lakeshore for a Southwestern Michigan - West game on Thursday, January 30. Mattawan will confront a Lancers team coming off a 45-37 non-league loss to Brandywine (Niles, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Howardsville Christian falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30.
