The Eastern Musketeers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Springs Valley Blackhawks to 57 in the Musketeers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Musketeers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem for a Mid-Southern contest on Saturday, January 30. Eastern will battle a Lions team coming off a 70-68 league win over Austin (Austin, IN). The Lions record now stands at 2-10.

The Blackhawks (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Tell City was nudged by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN), 58-51, in a league contest.
