Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Decatur Eisenhower upgrades its record to 9-15 on the season. The Panthers travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to play the Cyclones in a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 22-2.

Next up, the Railsplitters play the Effingham Flaming Hearts (Effingham, IL) in a Apollo bout, on Monday, January 31. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record. The Flaming Hearts go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 48-41 non-league win over Champaign Central (Champaign, IL).
