Georgia High School Basketball - Telfair County fells Dodge County
January 29, 2022: McRae, GA 31055 Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA), 68-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Telfair County upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Trojans host Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA) to play the Red Devils in a A Public Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Hawkinsville lost 57-39 in their recent league bout against Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA)
Next up, the Indians play the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) in a AA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Dodge County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 52-49 non-league loss to Laney (Augusta, GA).
