Kentucky High School Basketball - Evangel Christian ripped by Pikeville
January 29, 2022: Pikeville, KY 41501 The Pikeville Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Evangel Christian Eagles to 33 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league bout on Sunday, January 30. Pikeville will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 63-61 non-league win over Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 17-4.
Next up, the Eagles play the Moore Mustangs (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 31. Evangel Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 56-44 non-league win over Central (Louisville, KY).
