Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette County holds off Gallatin
January 29, 2022: Higginsville, MO 64037 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) and the visiting Gallatin Bulldogs (Gallatin, MO), saw Lafayette County's basketball squad hold off Gallatin by a tally of 63-61.
With the victory, Lafayette County improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Huskers host Richmond (Richmond, MO) to confront the Spartans in a Missouri River Valley - East challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Richmond won 42-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Milan Wildcats (Milan, MO) in a Grand River challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Gallatin will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record.
