West Virginia High School Basketball - Gilmer County tipped by Sherman
January 29, 2022: Seth, WV 25181 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Sherman Tide basketball team scored a tight 51-44 triumph over the Gilmer County Titans.
In their next game, the Tide meet the Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 1. Sherman will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 80-46 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
With the defeat, Gilmer County moves to 2-10 on the year. The Titans travel to Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV) to meet the Red Devils in a Little Kanawha - East match on Monday, January 31. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 1-12. Calhoun lost 45-30 in their recent non-league match against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV)
