Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hopewell overwhelmed by Moon Area
January 29, 2022: Aliquippa, PA 15001 The Moon Area Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Hopewell Vikings to 45 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a WPIAL 5A 2 contest on Tuesday, February 1. Moon Area will battle a Hillers team coming off a 66-56 league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Hillers record now stands at 3-9.
The Vikings (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA). The come into the WPIAL 4A 2 contest with a 9-3 record.
