Georgia High School Basketball - Lassiter can't hold off Northview
January 29, 2022: Johns Creek, GA 30097 The Lassiter Trojans basketball team (Marietta, GA), was nudged 57-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Northview Titans (Johns Creek, GA)
The Titans now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Pius X Catholic for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 1. Northview will battle a Golden Lions team coming off a 92-38 league win over M.L. King (Lithonia, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 18-3.
The Trojans (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeler (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats come into the AAAAAA Region 6 battle with a 17-4 record. In their last battle, Wheeler edged Newton (Covington, GA), 74-69, in a non-league battle.
