In Saturday's non-league outing, the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) basketball squad edged the host South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), by a count of 61-55.

The Titans (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs go into the B Region 1 outing with a 8-6 record.

The Mustangs now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Oakes for a non-league outing on Monday, January 31. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will clash with a Tornadoes squad coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-7.
