Iowa High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant trounces Mediapolis
January 29, 2022: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 The Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA), 55-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals go into the non-league test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Regina walloped North Cedar (Stanwood, IA), 48-44, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wapello for a SEI - North test on Tuesday, February 1. Mediapolis will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 53-47 league loss to Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Indians record now stands at 9-7.
