Georgia High School Basketball - Southwest DeKalb overwhelms Stephenson

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) and the visiting Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA), saw Southwest DeKalb's basketball squad wallop Stephenson by a tally of 56-35.

With the victory, Southwest DeKalb improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Chamblee (Chamblee, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, February 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-8.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Stephenson will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 52-49 league win over Mays (Atlanta, GA).
