Georgia High School Basketball - Augusta Prep Day trounced by Gatewood
January 29, 2022: Eatonton, GA 31024 The Gatewood Gators routed the visiting Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers basketball team by a final score of 47-24 in Saturday's league game.
In their next game, the Gators face the Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) in a GISA AA Region 4 game, on Tuesday, February 1. Gatewood will attempt to move on its 13-7 season record. The War Eagles enter the game with a 20-1 record after their 60-31 league win over Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
With the defeat, Augusta Prep Day moves to 6-12 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to face the Spartans in a GISA AA Region 4 game on Tuesday, February 1.
