January 29, 2022: Napoleon, ND 58561 Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats (Leeds, ND) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials (Napoleon, ND), 79-70 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rolette/Wolford (Rolette, ND) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Monday, January 31. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Imperials play the Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND) in a B Region 3 District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 47-42 league win over Oakes (Oakes, ND).
