Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) and the host Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA), saw Islands's basketball squad wallop Jenkins by a tally of 45-20.

With the victory, Islands improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to New Hampstead (Savannah, GA) to play the Phoenix in a AAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. New Hampstead won 54-52 in their recent non-league challenge against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, February 4. Jenkins will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
