January 29, 2022: Wichita, KS 67210 The Life Prep Fire (Wichita, KS) basketball felled the host Southeast Golden Buffalo (Wichita, KS), 48-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Fire (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Wichita HomeSchool (Wichita, KS). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Wichita HomeSchool was beaten by Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS), 53-39, in a non-league test.
The Golden Buffalo now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 1. Southeast will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Dodge City (Dodge City, KS). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-2.
