Illinois High School Basketball - Trinity ripped by Marist
January 29, 2022: River Forest, IL 60305 The Marist RedHawks basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Trinity Blazers to 36 in the RedHawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The RedHawks now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marian Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic contest on Monday, January 31. Marist will meet a Spartans team coming off a 41-31 non-league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 20-7.
The Blazers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL). The Panthers enter the Girls Catholic - White contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Regina Dominican triumphed over St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL), 51-9, in a non-league contest.
