Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pine River-Backus Tigers (Pine River, MN), 82-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Browerville upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 11-6. Brandon/Evansville lost 76-39 in their recent league bout against West Central Area (Barrett, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs (Northome, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Pine River-Backus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 99-56 league loss to Red Lake (Red Lake, MN).
