California High School Basketball - Poly overwhelms Chavez
January 29, 2024: San Fernando, CA 91340 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the host Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), saw Poly's basketball squad wallop Chavez by a tally of 62-23.
With the victory, Poly improves its record to 9-16 on the campaign. The Parrots host North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA) to confront the Huskies in a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 9-17. North Hollywood lost 83-48 in their recent league challenge against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Chavez will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 15-11 record after their 69-59 league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA).
