South Dakota High School Basketball - Chester holds off Colman-Egan
January 29, 2024: Chester, SD 57016 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) and the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD), saw Chester's basketball squad hold off Colman-Egan by a tally of 53-51.
With the victory, Chester improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Flyers host Parker (Parker, SD) to confront the Pheasants in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pheasants come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Parker lost 57-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD)
Next up, the C-E Hawks confront the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD) in a B Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Colman-Egan will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD).
