January 29, 2024: Mobridge, SD 57601 The Timber Lake Panthers basketball team (Timber Lake, SD), was overwhelmed 65-41 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD)
The Tigers now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Mobridge-Pollock will battle a Braves team coming off a 69-59 league loss to Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Braves record now stands at 8-5.
The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Thunderhawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Tiospaye Topa trounced Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD), 44-17, in a non-league battle.
