The Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC) varsity basketball team won Monday's home conference game against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC) by a score of 61-52.
The Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles to 52 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Family Academy for a Western Piedmont contest on Tuesday, January 30. Nebo Crossing Academy will battle a Fire team coming off a 78-30 league win over Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC). The Fire record now stands at 12-1.
The Eagles (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors enter the Western Piedmont contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Community Christian Academy was defeated by The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC), 48-34, in a non-league contest.
