Tennessee High School Basketball - Oneida fells Oliver Springs
January 29, 2024: Oliver Springs, TN 37840 Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN), 59-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oneida upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Indians host Austin-East (Knoxville, TN) to play the Roadrunners in a 2A District 2 bout on Friday, February 2. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Austin-East lost 79-62 in their recent league bout against Alcoa (Alcoa, TN)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Jellico Blue Devils (Jellico, TN) in a 1A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Oliver Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 98-82 non-league loss to Harriman (Harriman, TN).
