Illinois High School Basketball - Juda knocked off by South Beloit
January 29, 2024: South Beloit, IL 61080 The South Beloit Sobos basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Juda Panthers to 30 in the Sobos non-league triumph on Monday.
The Sobos now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. South Beloit will battle a Guardians team coming off a 43-19 league loss to Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL). The Guardians record now stands at 3-7.
The Panthers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Pecatonica/Argyle (Blanchardville, WI). The Vikings enter the Six Rivers - East contest with a 16-1 record.
