Louisiana High School Basketball - Kinder fells Sam Houston
January 29, 2024: Kinder, LA 70648 Kinder Yellowjackets (Kinder, LA) supporters were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA), 50-32 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Kinder improves its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host South Beauregard (Longville, LA) to confront the Knights in a 3A District 3 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 21-7. South Beauregard won 52-33 in their recent league challenge against Jennings (Jennings, LA)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Sam Houston will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 41-40 league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA).
