Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Start Spartans (Toledo, OH), 68-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ross upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Little Giants host Clay (Oregon, OH) to play the Eagles in a Northern Lakes bout on Thursday, February 1. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Clay won 36-24 in their recent non-league bout against Maumee (Maumee, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Start will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 62-48 non-league win over Springfield (Holland, OH).
