Washington High School Basketball - Burlington-Edison knocked off by Lynden
January 29, 2024: Lynden, WA 98264 The Lynden Lions basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Burlington-Edison Tigers to 35 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ferndale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Lynden will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 63-20 non-league loss to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Bellingham was outscored by Mt. Baker (Deming, WA), 30-25, in a non-league contest.
