Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) and the visiting Christ Covenant Spartan (Winterville, NC), saw Lawrence Academy's basketball squad wallop Christ Covenant by a tally of 68-13.

With the victory, Lawrence Academy improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to confront the Colts in a challenge on Friday, February 2. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 9-7.

Next up, the Spartan confront the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Christ Covenant will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 22-19 non-league loss to Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC).
