In Wednesday's league contest, the host Brennan Bears basketball team scored a big 123-39 triumph over the Marshall Rams.

The Bears (25-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holmes (San Antonio, TX). The Huskies go into the 6A Region IV District 28 contest with a 4-27 record. In their last contest, Holmes was trounced by Harlan (San Antonio, TX), 91-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 contest, on Saturday, February 1. Marshall will attempt to better on its 11-20 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 16-11 record after their 82-33 league loss to Brennan (San Antonio, TX).
