The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Clear Spring Blazers to 48 in the Miners non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Hill for a Appalachian game on Friday, January 31. Mountain Ridge will confront a Sentinels team coming off a 57-56 league win over Southern (Oakland, MD). The Sentinels record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Clear Spring falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to confront the Lions in a CMC game on Friday, January 31. The Lions go into the game with a record of 6-9. Walkersville lost 58-55 in their recent league game against Middletown (Middletown, MD)
