Michigan High School Basketball - River Valley nips Colon
January 29, 2025: Colon, MI 49040 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting River Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a close 57-52 win over the Colon Magi.
The Mustangs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Covert (Covert, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Covert was tipped by Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI), 90-20, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Magi battle the Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI) in a Southern Central - West contest, on Friday, January 31. Colon will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 81-30 non-league win over North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI).
