Connecticut High School Basketball - Killingly holds off Woodstock Academy
January 29, 2025: Woodstock, CT 06281 In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Killingly Redmen basketball team scored a close 44-38 triumph over the Woodstock Academy Centaurs.
The Redmen (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers go into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, New London nipped Fitch (Groton, CT), 67-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Centaurs confront the East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Woodstock Academy will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 73-40 league loss to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT).
