The Marquette Catholic Blazers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Morgan Township Cherokees to 22 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blazers now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Andrean for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Marquette Catholic will play a Fighting 59ers team coming off a 63-54 non-league win over Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Morgan Township falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Cherokees travel to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, January 31.
