January 29, 2025: Mound City, MO 64470 Mound City Panthers (Mound City, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Polo Panthers (Polo, MO), 52-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mound City advances its record to 8-16 on the year. The Panthers travel to DeKalb (DeKalb, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-17. DeKalb won 55-41 in their recent league match against South Holt (Oregon, MO)
The Panthers now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Andrew for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. Polo will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 44-27 league win over St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-8.
