New York High School Basketball - Rome Free Academy nudges Oswego

January 29, 2025: Rome, NY 13441

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY) and the visiting Oswego Bucs (Oswego, NY), observed Rome Free Academy's basketball team edge Oswego by a score of 93-87.

The Black Knights (12-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Whitesboro edged Oneida (Oneida, NY), 71-69, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bucs encounter the Fowler Falcons (Syracuse, NY) in a Section 3 Salt City - Empire challenge, on Friday, January 31. Oswego will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
