Virginia High School Basketball - Tunstall bested by Hargrave Military Academy
January 29, 2025: Dry Fork, VA 24549 Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), 50-40 in a league match.
With the victory, Hargrave Military Academy advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Bishops in a match on Tuesday, February 11. The Bishops enter the match with a record of 3-2.
The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magna Vista for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Tunstall will face a Warriors squad coming off a 60-20 non-league loss to McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-13.
