Illinois High School Basketball - Batavia holds off Lincoln Park
January 30, 2022: Chicago, IL 60614 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) and the host Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL), saw Batavia's basketball squad hold off Lincoln Park by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Batavia improves its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to confront the Panthers in a DuKane challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-13. Glenbard North won 55-42 in their recent league challenge against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Perspectives Leadership (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Lincoln Park will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record.
